Magical Nights of Lights 20th Anniversary-The C.B.A. Foundation Performance

Hello Friends!

I am so happy to have been invited to entertain at the Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier again this year.  It is the 20th Anniversary of this wonderful light show and is the fourth year that I have participated in this event. It is so much fun!    If you are interested in joining us, it will be a night of fun. We will entertain for one hour in the Big White Tent.  We will sing the Twelve Days of Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer plus others. We will have a reading of the night before Christmas and anyone that would like to perform can submit their talent or suggestion.

Our group is scheduled for December 17 at 7:00 PM on the Festival Stage at Holiday Village on Lake Lanier Islands Resort.

Performers are admitted free.   The entrance to the park is $60 for cars and $90 for vans. Vehicle passes will be given out but we will need to car pool as I will only have a limited number of passes.

You will want to arrive in plenty of time to get to the stage area and meet our group. The car line to the entrance to the park forms early, around 5:30.  I suggest being at the gate at least one hour prior to a 7 pm performance so you will have time to enjoy the lights. Remember, you will have to actually take the Magical Nights of Lights tour up to the turn off point for the Holiday Village so the driving pace will be slow.

DRESS:  Santa Stocking Cap and wear a red, green or white shirt.

This year we are asking everyone to bring a can good to benefit the Sunshine Church Food Bank in Colbert, Ga OR stickers to be given to children at Scottish Rite Hospital for the “Stuck on Stickers” event  for the Remembering Zachary organization.

This will be fun for you and we look forward to your group sharing their talents with the community while enjoying the light show and festivities. This is very informal and will be so much fun!  Please let me know if you would like to join us this year by December 11th, 2011 and if you have any suggestions.  Also, please let me know what talent you have.  There will be no piano.

Thanks and see you soon!
